FABIAN PERALTA’s dance adventure started at the age of 6, with folk dance. Between 6 and 23 years old he was a folk dancer, being part of the national folk ballet of Argentina. Between 17 and 23 years old, Fabian danced classical dance, while studying among others, scenography, choreographic composition, tap dance, flamenco and contemporary dance at the National School of Arts in Rosario, Argentina. 

 

He entered the world of tango at the age of 23, guided by his great maestro Mingo Pugliese. 

He danced on stage in numerous tango shows, in what is called in Buenos Aires “casas de tango” (houses of tango), among which the most important were: 

“Casa blanca” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)/ “The white house” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)

“La ventana” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)/ “The window” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)

“Michelangelo” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)

“El viejo almacén” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)/ “The old warehouse” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)

“Esquina Homero Manzzi” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)/ “The corner Homero Manzzi” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)

“Esquina Carlos Gardel” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)/ “The corner Carlos Gardel” (casa de tango Buenos Aires)

 

Besides this, Fabian Peralta has created and directed the prestigious tango show "Corporation Tango" and was part of some of the best tango companies, among which Copes Tango Copes, Tango x 2 and the show “Solo Tango”. 

 

In 2006 Fabian Peralta becomes the tango salon world champion. 

 

As A tango teacher, he gives classes and workshops in Buenos Aires and in some of the biggest tango festivals in Europe, US, Australia 

Since 2013 till present, Fabian Peralta’s permanent tango partner is Josefina Bermudez Avila. Together they travel the world as teachers and dancers of some of the best international tango festivals. They are currently considered in top 10 best tango couples in the world and are based in Poland.

JOSEFINA BERMUDEZ AVILA, began studying dance in Anne Deutch’s studio at the age of 5. She continued with studying classical and modern dance in Beatriz Schraiber’s studio in the city of Azul, Buenos Aires Province. Later, Josefina graduated from the New School of Contemporary Dance, directed by the renowned choreographer Oscar Araiz, further dancing in his dance company. 

Her incursion into tango begins at the age of 11 and it’s tango that becomes an outstanding matter in her career, although for a while, she has been alternating it with contemporary dance. Josefina has been part of several dance companies and tango shows, among which "Tango Malambo" directed by Juan Corvalan, with which she toured most of Europe. 

 

Among her tango teachers the most important were Carlos Copello, "El Nene Massi”, Lorena Ermocida and Fabian Peralta, with whom she begins a new and important stage in her tango career. 

 

Since 2013 till present Josefina Bermudez Avila is Fabian Peralta’s tango partner and together, they travel the world as teachers and dancers of some of the best international tango festivals. They are currently considered in top 10 best tango couples in the world and are based in Poland.
